Owned and operated by Steven Johnson, our team brings more than two decades of comprehensive experience to each client. Approachable, efficient and effective, we are proud to put our clients first and celebrate longstanding relationships with local business owners.
Steven Johnson
Founder, CPA
Steven Johnson graduated from the College of Charleston in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. He went on to earn his Masters in Accountancy in 2001 from the University of Charleston.
Before founding Johnson Tax & Accounting Solutions in 2018, Steven was a Tax Manager with the largest CPA firm in the Southeast ranked among the US top 20 public accounting and advisory firms.
Steven specializes in tax compliance and planning for individuals as well as corporate, partnership and trust clients. With clients spanning industries such as construction, real estate, retail, restaurant and hospitality and manufacturing, Steven is an advocate for local businesses and was instrumental in the firm’s involvement with Lowcountry Local First.
When he’s not crunching numbers or de-coding tax code, Steven spends most of his time paddle boarding or on the beach at Sullivan’s Island with his two children, Alaina and Kai. When not on the beach or in water, you may find him exploring new paths or playing with his dogs.
